Every Friday is the day I get a rude shock. The diet gets stranger and the workouts get another level more intense.
This is one thing I like about the program - that Patrick always keeps us guessing what the next week will bring.
At the same time, I notice changes in my body. Now I can do the skipping much easier - its hardly even a chore anymore. Every time I get sore, I know that the nutrition will help me recover.
I have pretty much given up on trying to make my food taste better. Nowadays I just rely on pepper, lemon, italian herbs, chilli and garlic to garnish the meat that I cook. Carbs and vegetables I just eat as is.
Today I am going to take a nice long walk shopping and do my workout in the late afternoon instead of at the crack of dawn.
EDIT: Doubling up on Abs REALLY hurts !
Yeah I'm not paying as much attention to prepare an exquisit meal every night too. Been falling back on the cook up a bunch of vegetables, toast some bread, and lightly season the meat and then grill them or whatever easy way that doesn't involve much effort.
