After banging out yet another 6:30am workout, I was pleased to find our directions to have an indulgence today. At first I thought, doner kebab or Tony Romas ribs - but then I thought "Why would I want to make my workout harder tomorrow morning or even worse, undo some of the hard work I have done.
As a compromise, I decided to get a Felafal Roll.
The thing that I have been craving most of all is a bit of cheese and some bbq sauce. On my roll I had Cheese, Hommous, Tabouli, Lettuce, Tomato + Chilli and BBQ Sauce.
The taste - well it was very delicious - but at the same time it was salty. It caused my stomach to get a bit upset.
The "indulgence" itself wasn't really that hardcore. In fact, it had a whole lot of salad in it - with a few "forbidden" items thrown in.
What this taught me is that - given the choice - I'd rather not eat sh*t food and compromise my physical condition. After the program, I dare say I will indulge in the occasional felafel roll - but I will probably make it myself and sneak some hommous in there.
Actually what I really felt like doing is drinking 12 beers and smoking a few cigarettes - however, I'm pretty sure this would have screwed my workout up tomorrow.

Dam that looks good. Should have had that instead of my 2 bad tasting low calorie beers!
