A few times over the course of the PCP, I have faced pressures relating my daily workload at work. In the past, I would have been tempted to work back much later into the evening - and perhaps have McDonalds or some other takeaway for dinner.
Nowadays, when I am faced with such decisions, it becomes a matter of priority for me to complete what is required for PCP. I always feel better once I have aten properly and have done my workout - and potentially enables me to manage stress and workload better.
The workouts are taking me over an hour these days. As I do have quite a bit of work to have completed, tomorrow I am going to get up early, do my skipping and then get myself into the office.
I hope I can reduce my workload to the point that I can focus 100% on being healthy rather than running myself into the ground. This is one of the biggest challenges I am facing in PCP.
Yeah the workouts are getting longer... Just getting them done plus all the food shopping and preparing means really not much time for me to anything else in the weekdays...
ReplyDeleteSame with me Yeecheng - plus work is getting a bit hectic. Unfortunately I have sustained an injury that will put me out for a week. More on this later
