Day 51 - An Indulgence

Last nite, I had my indulgence. At first, I was tempted to just play it safe and have my good old Falafel roll. I re-read Patricks instructions, and decided that I would have something that I would normally eat. I ordered a Chicken and Cashew nuts with Green Curry rice from my local Thai. Here it is in all of its oily goodness.

The meal itself tasted delicious. It had a nice texture and tasted nice in terms of saltiness, sweetness and being oilly. I followed it up with a fist full of candy.

About 15 minutes later, I started to feel a bit drowsy. By 30 minutes later, I was fast asleep on the couch.

I have been particularly busy at work, and busy with some renovations at home. I was finding it hard to think about all of these things AND the PCP as well. I arrived home and felt pretty unmotivated. I summoned up the motivation from somewhere and ploughed through my new workout.

Now I don't feel like a lazy slob anymore and I have enough motivation to carry me through the week.

Moral of the story, when u don't feel like working out, the best thing u can do is work out :)

  1. Dam that looks good. I am thinking of doing some indian food. Nice and spicy style!

  2. Oh, other notes from this morning (very enjoyable, by the way) - try going to Thomas Dux or Fratelli Fresh and getting some of the good stuff. Organic Eggs are the bomb - especially for the morning one with a yolk - doesn't matter so much for the bulk-white ones.

Try Country Valley low fat milk. Stunning. They have a website that lists all stockists but Thomas Dux will do it for sure (DJ's food hall probably has good posh stuff too). My yoghurt of choice is Barambah Organic Low Fat Natural (European Style). You can get it in 1 litre tubs which last me about a week.
