Today I went for a walk with my girlfriend in the Sydney sunshine. I have done this walk before pre-PCP and found it a little challenging - mainly due to the couple of uphill sections and staircases.
Now that I am not carrying around 15 or so additional kilograms of fat, doing this walk was an absolute breeze. I reckon this is one of the true benefits of the PCP - the ability for us to cope with stress (both physical and mental) and to be more disciplined in life.
I've been following the PCP as closely as I can - the diet to the letter, but I slipped a few days last week since I was busy with work and I kind of overdid it on my indulgence of a few beers.
I did enjoy drinking a few beers but I certainly didn't enjoy the feeling the next day. I was out for a few days after that and my stomach was really feeling sore. Post PCP, I will really have to re-consider whether I choose to indulge at all or at least make my indulgences few and far between.
I also really missed the feeling of being healthy and the rush that I get after I finish a workout. Since Saturday I have been working out again and I really want to have a strong finish.
Hope everyone else is enjoying the final stretch :)
